To commemorate the anniversary of the founding of Neumann-Gefell 75 years ago, Gefell has brought back to life the legendary Neumann UM57. Using the original hand stretched M7 capsule so highly sought after by Neumann aficionados, the UM57 replicates every detail of the original Gefell-made Neumann microphones, including the vintage EF86 tube, custom wound transformer, even the original hammered metal grey patina finish. Only 75 microphones will be produced, each serialized with a signed letter from Mr. Kuhnast and Drexler jr., whose fathers worked side-by-side with Georg Neumann from the very beginning.
